Skilled Immigrants and Refugees Welcomed to Canada

 All across Canada, the word “newcomer” has gained significant adoption by people moving into the country newly from other parts of the world. One of the places where the term is used is the website of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. A page on the website is titled “Newcomer Services.”

Another private employment service termed the “largest network of new Canadians in the country” goes by Newcomers Canada. The agency serves as a place where newcomers and employers map their routes ahead.

Based on these instances, Canadian Visa Expert concluded that Canada is a home away from home for people from all walks of life.

Canada Median Age Is Lower Because of Immigration

 After over five decades of Canada’s first reduction in median age, history has repeated itself. Canadian Visa Expert reported that the national statistics agency’s data in 2022 showed that the median age of people living in Canada dropped to 41. Before this year, the median age had rapidly risen from 26.2 in 1971 to 41.1 in 2021.

Over One Million Jobs in Canada Remain Unfilled

 The result of over a million vacant job positions in Canada’s economy has led to an action by the Bank of Canada governor. According to Canadian Visa Expert, the Bank of Canada’s governor, Tiff Macklem, raised the benchmark interest rate by a percentage point to help combat inflation. This action was taken earlier in July.
